When the old no longer fits and the new is not yet clear. The path to change can be a lonely one at times.
No one really understands your reasons for wanting something different.
Like in your career.
You’re so good at your job.
Your colleagues think you are brillant.
You have so much education.
You could climb the ladder.
You could probably do your leader´s job!
Or maybe you are the leader…
Perhaps they are right.
You could.
But you don’t want to.
And what’s harder still is this. You can’t explain what you don’t want because you don’t yet know what you do want.
So you feel stuck.
Between what is and what could be.
Between who others think you are and who you sense yourself becoming.
Unmooring happens in our careers, in our relationships, and at key turning points in our lives.
Dare to be unmoored for a while, between the tides. I know this is hard, but it really is worth the time to explore what the right direction might be for you going forward. And when you intentionally choose your direction, the sailing will be all the more beautiful for having waited for the right tide to sail out again 🌊 ❤️
There are always more seas for you to explore. Please believe this. There really are.
